Finding inspiration in the little things...

Dorset, with its stunning landscapes and vibrant wildlife, serves as a boundless source of inspiration for my art. Each day, I discover the beauty in the little things that surround me—the vibrant colours of wildflowers swaying in the breeze, the intricate patterns formed by sunlight filtering through leaves, and the lively interactions of people sat outside coffee shops, walking their dogs, or chatting with friends. I find immense joy in exploring the coastal paths, beaches and ancient woodlands that Dorset has to offer, and often find myself thinking 'that would make a great photo/painting' when I'm enjoying these spaces. I really do think that you can find beauty in most surroundings, and it is in these quiet moments of awareness that I feel a profound connection to both nature and my creativity.
